Now, is this the answer John was expecting when he asked the question: "Who would want me as a flatmate?"
Well, one thing for sure, Sherlock has kept his life interesting, thus far!!! As much as I admire the Holmes' and Watsons of the past, this version of the pair will be the gold standard for any future rendition.
I thank Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and his brillance for inventing this pair!!!
can someone explain the story behind this version of sherlock holmes? I know its on BBC or something and was just wondering what it could be about. I know that the characters are in london or something but it's closer to the present.
The premise behind this version of Holmes is basically this: What if he and Watson were solving crimes TODAY instead of the Victorian Era? We've all see the likes of Rathbone, Lee, Cushing, Brett, but it was felt that a Sherlock was needed for the crimes of 21st Century. It's not only closer to the present. It IS the present. It IS TODAY. Yes, Sherlock is in London and still living at 221B Baker Street.
I hope this helps! If you have anymore questions, note me!!!
